Danny Masterson, known for his role in "That '70s Show," has been relocated from Corcoran State Prison, a maximum-security facility in California where notorious figure Charles Manson was once held.
Online records from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation show that Danny Masterson has been moved to the California Men's Colony, a state prison exclusively for men in San Luis Obispo, California.

A spokesperson for the CDCR confirmed to USA TODAY on Monday that Masterson was indeed transferred on February 16th. The CDCR stated that they are unable to disclose specific reasons for transfers or detailed housing information due to legal constraints.
Programs Offered at Low and Medium-Security Prison Complexes
According to the CDCR, the low and medium-security prison comprises two complexes.
The facility provides a range of educational and self-enhancement initiatives, such as cognitive behavioral therapy programs, substance abuse education, courses on criminal mindset, anger management, and workshops on family relationships, as stated on the website.
Danny Masterson’s Transfer to Corcoran State Prison
In January, records indicated that Masterson was moved to Corcoran State Prison, which housed Manson starting in 1989.
The facility is classified as one of ten institutions in the state for the "most violent and dangerous male offenders," according to the corrections department.
In January, a state judge refused to grant Danny Masterson bail while he awaits his appeal, citing concerns that he might flee.
According to documents from The Wrap and Deadline, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo expressed that if Masterson's conviction and sentence are upheld on appeal, he could potentially be incarcerated for many decades or even for life.
Considering that the defendant doesn't have a wife waiting for him at home, he now has a strong motivation to escape and little motivation to return to state prison if his appeal fails and he still has a lengthy sentence to serve.

Danny Masterson’s Legal Situation and Sentencing
Olmedo also mentioned that Masterson is highly motivated to flee and has little reason to return to state prison if his appeal fails, especially given his recent separation from his estranged wife, actress Bijou Phillips, who filed for divorce shortly after his September 7th sentencing.
Masterson was found guilty last year of raping two women and was handed a sentence of 30 years to life in prison. In December, authorities confirmed that he was incarcerated at North Kern State Prison in California, as reported by The Associated Press.
During Masterson's sentencing, Olmedo reminded him that he is not the victim, stating, "Your actions 20 years ago robbed another person of their voice and choice. You will have to face the consequences of your past actions one way or another."
Prison records indicate that Masterson will be eligible for parole in July 2042. By then, he will be 66 years old.
