All eyes in the golf world were focused on a pre-qualifier event for the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches. It's not a common occurrence, but then again, it's not every day that Tiger Woods' son makes his debut attempt on the PGA Tour.
On Thursday morning, Charlie Woods started his round at Lost Lake Golf Club in Hobe Sound, one of the four pre-qualifying venues for the Cognizant Classic, previously known as the Honda Classic.
A top-five finish would secure his advancement to the Monday qualifying round, offering him a shot at competing in his first PGA Tour event.
