Musk told psychologist Jordan Peterson that a lack of understanding during the COVID-19 pandemic led him to make a decision he now regrets.

He alleges he was pressured into approving the treatment under the false notion that his son might attempt suicide if denied.

Musk expressed a sense of loss, stating, "They call it deadnaming for a reason.

The reason they call it deadnaming is because your son is dead." Deadnaming refers to using a transgender person's former name, which they no longer identify with.

Opposing Viewpoints

Musk believes the situation is a result of a "woke mind virus," and that those who promote such treatments for minors should be held accountable.

Peterson echoed these sentiments, calling the practice "evil."
