Bestselling author Brendan DuBois was arraigned on Thursday on multiple counts of possessing child sexual abuse materials after police found dozens of instances of "sexually explicit conduct."
DuBois was arrested on Wednesday after Exeter, New Hampshire police, in collaboration with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, launched an investigation into child sexual abuse materials in the town.
The 64-year-old Exeter resident was charged with six felony counts of possession of child abuse materials.

Details of the Investigation
Authorities stated that Brendan DuBois possessed "at least 35 visual representations of children under the age of 18 engaging in various sexual acts."
DuBois is currently in the Rockingham County Jail, and his lawyer, Harry Starbranch, did not respond to requests for comment.
