Former Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Daniel Muir was arrested on Wednesday along with his wife.
Kristen Muir, after their 14-year-old son, Bryson, was found at their residence in Logansport, Indiana. Bryson had been reported missing two weeks earlier.

Bryson Muir Found Safe After Weeks Missing
Bryson Muir, the 14-year-old, has been confirmed to be "safe and well" and is currently under the care of the Cass County Department of Child Services.
The incident originated from a report made by Bryson's grandmother, Cheryl Wright, to Garfield Heights, Ohio, police on June 16, alleging abuse against her grandson. Wright mentioned that she had documented her grandson's injuries with a photograph.
Daniel Muir Arrested After Standoff with Police
Indiana investigators faced challenges in reaching Daniel, aged 40, and Kristen, aged 38. According to reports, the couple agreed to meet with Indiana State Police but canceled the meeting an hour before it was scheduled to take place.
This prompted police to issue a statewide Silver Alert, indicating Bryson could be in "extreme danger and may need medical attention."
Officers located Bryson and his parents immediately after executing a search warrant at 6 a.m. on Wednesday. The operation involved three SWAT teams, detectives, K9 units, and a bomb squad.
Daniel Muir’s Religious Affiliation Examined
The property where Daniel Muir was arrested is known as "Straitway Goshen" and is affiliated with the religious organization Straitway Truth Ministry. The group encourages communal living in isolated communities.
Daniel purchased a 59-acre property in Logansport in 2020 and is listed as the contact and leader of the Indiana location of Straitway on the group's website.
According to Indiana State Police (ISP), additional individuals at the property were detained and questioned on Wednesday, although their identities were not disclosed. Daniel and Kristen Muir were the only individuals arrested during the operation.
