An unsettling helicopter crash occurred in Danbury, New Hampshire on Saturday, leaving the pilot's condition a mystery.
Sole Occupant on Board Hughes TH-55
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a Hughes TH-55 helicopter went down around 12:50 p.m. with only the pilot on board. Danbury is situated roughly 30 miles northwest of Concord, the state capital.

Witness Reports Unusual Maneuvers
Mark Ramsey, a retired Coast Guard pilot, recounted hearing strange maneuvers from the helicopter just before a loud sound indicating the rotors struck tree limbs. The wreckage settled within 100 yards of his residence.
Investigation Underway
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is partnering with the FAA to gather details surrounding the crash. The NTSB plans to move the helicopter for a more thorough examination at an off-site facility.
The ill-fated TH-55 Osage, a two-seater first introduced in 1956, served initially as a military training helicopter with many transitioned into civilian use.
