Florida rapper Julio Foolio shot, whose real name is Charles Jones, was tragically shot and killed early Sunday morning in the parking lot of a Tampa hotel.

The incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Tampa North. According to Tampa police spokesperson Jonee Lewis, shots were fired at two vehicles, injuring a total of four people.
Among the victims was a 26-year-old man believed to be Jones, though official confirmation from the medical examiner is pending. Three others were also injured in the Julio Foolio shooting.

Julio Foolio’s Birthday Trip Ends in Tragedy
Julio Foolio's lawyer, Lewis Fusco, informed WTSP that the rapper had traveled to Tampa to celebrate his birthday at an Airbnb. However, due to the large number of guests, he was asked to leave and subsequently moved to the Holiday Inn. F mencionó that it was at this hotel where Foolio was allegedly ambushed.
Foolio, who has amassed over a million followers on Instagram, had posted about his birthday trip to Tampa on his social media. Despite the Julio Foolio shooting, hotel guests did not have to evacuate, but police were on-site to provide assistance if needed.
