WWE Raw following WrestleMania 40 hyped up a big celebration for Cody Rhodes, capping off his journey in what's being called the best WrestleMania main event ever.
The show also featured a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match with Ricochet, Bronson Reed, Jey Uso, and Drew McIntyre vying to become the top contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Last week’s WWE Raw pulled in an audience of 1.784 million viewers.

Triple H And Cody Rhodes Kick Off WWE Raw 2024
Michael Cole shared that WWE's streak of TV sellouts reached its 17th event, with a packed crowd of 20,248 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The event's setup featured a much narrower stage than the usual expansive screen seen on WWE Raw 2024, a decision made to maximize attendance following WrestleMania 40.
The audience erupted in applause, chanting "Triple H" and "thank you Hunter" even before Triple H could speak.
Triple H expressed his gratitude to the fans, declaring the previous night as the most significant and grandest WrestleMania ever held.
Cody Rhodes received a thunderous welcome, with fans chanting "you deserve it." Triple H acknowledged the change in the stage setup was intentional to allow more fans to attend. He introduced a touching video tribute to Rhodes' journey, accompanied by Andra Day's "Rise Up," which visibly moved Rhodes.
Rhodes then spoke to Samantha Irvin, who had given a memorable, emotional introduction for Cody's victory the night before. The crowd chanted for Samantha as she once again introduced Rhodes as the new Undisputed WWE Champion.
A mention of Roman Reigns led to "thank you Roman" chants from the audience.
Rhodes shared a heartwarming clip of his daughter Liberty encouraging him to "papa, finish the story."
The Rock Interrupts Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes, who has been stirring up the WWE universe, found his moment interrupted by The Rock, whose entrance now features the sound of a Brahma Bull roaring.
The Philadelphia crowd didn't hold back, showering The Rock with boos and chants of “Rocky sucks!” and “shut the f—k up!” among others.
Commentator Pat McAfee played up the drama, siding with The Rock against the vocal Philly fans.

In response to the crowd's jeers, The Rock threw back a classic line from his days as a heel, asserting, “The Rock is a lot of things, but sucks isn’t one of them.”
The Rock didn't back down from the crowd's hostility, exchanging insults to the point where the broadcast had to censor him.
He took a moment to congratulate Cody, claiming his People’s Championship was legitimate, and humbly asked if he could hold Cody's belt, noting he had never captured the Undisputed WWE Championship himself.
Cody allowed it, leading to a moment where Rock held the WWE Championship and Cody the People’s Championship, to chants of “this is awkward” from the audience.
The Rock hinted at a departure but promised a challenge to Rhodes upon his return, to which Rhodes expressed anticipation.
Ending the encounter on a mysterious note, The Rock placed something in Cody’s hand, warning him not to break his heart again. The story between them thickened, stretching the segment to nearly an hour.
