Court documents do not reveal the identity of the targeted FBI agent, but a source familiar with the matter informed CNN that the agent belongs to Special Counsel David Weiss' team, currently investigating the President's son, Hunter Biden.

Neither Timothy Muller's attorney nor Muller himself has responded to requests for comment on the charges. Muller has not yet entered a formal plea in court.

Muller's alleged threats seem to be another example of this troubling trend. Court documents indicate that Muller made the threatening call to the FBI agent just hours after a federal jury in Delaware found Hunter Biden guilty on three gun charges.

The court documents outline a disturbing voicemail left by Timothy Muller. The one-minute message included death threats against the FBI agent and their family. Muller reportedly stated, "You can run, but you can't f**king hide."
The voicemail continued with demonstrably false claims regarding the 2020 presidential election being stolen. Court documents also detail profane threats made by Muller, including the statement, "the guns will come out, and we'll hunt you down and slaughter you like the traitorous dogs you are in your own f**king homes."
