But wait, there's more! In addition to the tour and the revamped album, Glover also teased the release of a brand new Childish Gambino album coming sometime this summer. While it's unclear if this new album will hit shelves before the tour kicks off, fans can likely expect to hear some of the new tracks performed live.

While the announcement of new music and a tour is exciting, it's important to note that Glover has spoken about retiring the Childish Gambino persona for some time now.
In 2017, he first mentioned an expiration date for the alias, and then reiterated his intention to conclude the musical project after winning a Grammy in 2018.
