Rodrigo conveyed her disappointment to fans via Instagram, expressing her hopes to reschedule the concerts soon. She assured her followers that she and her team are working diligently to find alternative dates for the shows.

Rodrigo's fans have encountered similar disruptions, with many individuals experiencing financial losses. Scott Tostevin, hailing from Guernsey, had made arrangements for himself and two companions to attend her Friday night performance.
The trio had invested a significant sum, covering flights and accommodation expenses for the trip. "Now, we're left with the option of either utilizing our flights and lodging to simply watch a movie in Manchester or forfeiting the funds entirely without any possibility of refunds," he lamented.
Manchester Arena Setback
The decision to delay major performances by one of the world's most prominent artists is yet another setback for Manchester arena, following a string of previous postponements. The £365 million venue, boasting the title of the UK's largest indoor arena with a capacity for 23,500 attendees, was initially slated to open with comedian Peter Kay's shows last week.
However, Kay's performances were rescheduled twice. The cancellation of Rodrigo's shows ensued after A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's concert was called off abruptly on Wednesday. The announcement was made to thousands of waiting fans outside the venue, just 10 minutes after the scheduled door opening time.
The arena's management attributed the decision to an incident during the soundcheck, where a component of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system, responsible for directing air, became detached from the ductwork.
Apologies and Criticisms
They assured that no injuries had occurred and expressed deep regret over the situation, emphasizing the necessity to conduct thorough testing of the entire system for additional faults. Many ticket-holders, who had traveled significant distances, were left disheartened.
The rapper himself took to social media to express frustration, emphasizing the priority of safety and promising further updates. One fan criticized the incident as "very unprofessional," while another pointed out the perceived lack of organization.
The venue's operators, Oak View Group, acknowledged the inconvenience caused to many individuals.
They attributed the fault to a "factory defect" with a specific nozzle used for directing air. Despite efforts, staff were unable to confirm the absence of similar issues with other nozzles.
Fan Experiences
Katie Barnsley, a fan who traveled from Kent for the concert, found out about the cancellation while on the tram to the arena in Manchester. Along with her partner and his sister, the 28-year-old insurance broker estimated their expenses for tickets, accommodation, and petrol to be around £600. She learned about the cancellation from the tram attendant, then confirmed it on Twitter.
Expressing her prior concerns about the venue's history of cancelled gigs, Ms. Barnsley mentioned being reassured by recent tweets from Co-op Live assuring the continuation of other shows. Some fans outside the arena were provided with a notice stating that A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's concert was cancelled due to "technical reasons."
Zack, a 17-year-old from Blackpool, expressed his disappointment after queuing for approximately two hours, especially considering he was on crutches.
Teoni Kirkham, aged 21, explained that they learned about the cancellation from people shouting and running around before the staff addressed them.
They had just arrived and witnessed everyone turning back, feeling chaotic and disorganized. Considering they had Ticketmaster on their phone, they expected a notification if the event was cancelled, criticizing the handling of the situation.
