A Police Car Flipped Over in Leeds Disturbance
During the incident, a police car flipped over, and a bus was set on fire. West Yorkshire Police have described the situation as a "serious disorder incident."
The police initially responded to a disturbance at a residence on Luxor Street around 17:00 BST.
This disturbance involved "some agency workers and some children," which prompted a decision to relocate them to safety as the situation escalated. Additional "pockets of disorder" soon broke out, leading to large crowds on the streets.
Social media footage showed one individual attacking a police car with a scooter before it was flipped over, while stones and other debris were thrown.

Investigations and Advisories
West Yorkshire Police announced they would conduct a thorough investigation into "all criminal offenses, including damage to vehicles from fire." They added that "the full weight of the law will be applied to those responsible."
First Bus confirmed that one of their vehicles was set on fire and another was caught up in the disturbance. Fortunately, neither the bus driver nor any passengers were injured. "One of our buses was set on fire but was empty as the passengers had been transferred to another bus earlier, along with the driver," said a spokesperson for the Leeds company.
